 Some may think it is an old saw, but I have always enjoyed the tree of life motif. I have made mine more tree-like then some. As a representation of family, I also believe that the roots are just as important as the branches. The trunk should be strong and upstanding, like the matriarch/patriarch of the family. Lastly, I included a truncated branch, as some family losses can remove a whole branch of descendants. Family matters! About 3/4 inch tall
